WATSONVILLE — Graciela Ortiz-Zamora died in Watsonville on Monday, April 23, 2012. She was 40.
Ms. Ortiz was born in Michoacan, Mexico on July 31, 1971 and lived in Watsonville for 18 years. She was a loving mother and devoted her life to raising her family. Ms. Ortiz was a very hard worker and was always happy. She liked to take walks, cook, and tend to her flower garden.
Ms. Ortiz is survived by her sons, Juan Luis and Rey Anthony Ayala; daughter, Andrea Ayala; father, Jose Ortiz; mother, Maria Flora Zamora; brother, Jose Ortiz; and sisters, Delfina, Silvia, and Bertha Alicia Ortiz.
A visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Thursday from 5-9 p.m with a recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Pajaro on Friday at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
