Patrick Duffy

CAPITOLA — Patrick O. Duffy died peacefully at his home in Capitola on Thursday, April 12, 2012. He was 62.

Mr. Duffy was born in California on January 12, 1950 and was a lifelong resident of Santa Cruz County. He graduated from Soquel High School and worked as a forklift driver for Bertolli for more than 25 years. Every day he enjoyed sitting on the beach and feeding the pigeons at Capitola Beach. He loved kids, playing football on the beach, reading Stephen King novels, and was a big 49ers fan.

Mr. Duffy is survived by his brother, Michael; sister, Michelle; and close friends Julie and David Reveles. Per Mr. Duffy's wishes no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Mehl’s Colonial Chapel.
