Sharon Ballesta

Sharon Ballesta passed away at her home unexpectedly on April 6h, 2012. Sharon was born in San Francisco, and raised in Watsonville, where she called home. She attended Moreland Notre Dame and graduated from Mora High School. Sharon was employed by Pajaro Valley Unified School District for 39 years, as a bus driver and dispatcher.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, and a devoted friend. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed watching golf on the weekends, playing Bunco with her friends, and rooting for the Giants and the 49ers.

Sharon leaves behind her daughter Leanna Stellman, and her sons Mark and John Ballesta, along with her grandchildren Stephanie and Nicole Stellman, Jamie, Madison, Brady and Jaxon Ballesta.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 14, 2012 at the Church of the Nazarene at 710 Green Valley Rd in Watsonville. Services will begin at 11am, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Ave Maria Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
