Brandon Gil died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Watsonville Community Hospital. He was 21.
Brandon was born in Watsonville and attended local schools. He was a true “Kar Guy”. He loved to restore classic cars and was proud of his 51 Mercury and 69 Chevy C-10 that he restored with his father. He also was an avid fan of the 49ers, SF Giants, old school music, video games and especially his Harley Davidson.
Brandon will always be remembered for his great infectious laugh and sense of humor. He loved his family and was there for them, no matter the need. He was a great son, brother and friend.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Richard Thomas Gil and Shelley Beach both of Watsonville; brothers, Aaron Gil of Long Beach and Tommy Gil of Hollister; grandparents, Roy and Barbara Beach of Watsonville; nephew, Romen Gil and niece, Scarlett Gil both of Hollister and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Wednesday, April 11th 5-9 p.m. A time of gathering will be held at the VFW Hall on Freedom Blvd 2-6 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 12th.
