Posted: Friday, Apr 6th, 2012

Brandon Gil died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Watsonville Community Hospital. He was 21.

Mr. Gil was born in Watsonville and attended local schools. He was a true “Kar Guy.” He loved to restore classic cars and was proud of his 1969 Chevy C-10 that he restored with his father. He also was an avid fan of the 49ers, SF Giants, old school music, video games and especially his Harley Davidson. Mr. Gil will always be remembered for his great infectious laugh and sense of humor. He loved his family and was there for them, no matter the need. He was a great son, brother and friend.

Mr. Gil is survived by his parents, Richard Thomas Gil and Shelley Beach both of Watsonville; brothers, Aaron Gil of Long Beach and Tommy Gil of Hollister; grandparents, Roy and Barbara Beach of Watsonville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held at the VFW Hall on Freedom Blvd at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
