Aptos moved to 8-0 in Santa Cruz Coastal Athletic League play with a three-set sweep over the St. Francis Central Coast Catholic Sharks, 25-8, 25-12, 25-13.
Jenna Belton led the Sharks with 18 kills and nine digs. Elise Coash had 41 assists, six digs and three aces.
The Mariners travel to Soquel Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
•North Monterey County Def. Monterey: The North Monterey County Condors won 27-25, 25-17, 25-19 over the Monterey Toreadors.
Hannah Ahearn notched 12 kills. Tori Teraji had 26 digs. Shiann Damasco racked up 25 assists.
The Condors will travel to Gilroy Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
•Pajaro Valley Def. Gilroy: The Pajaro Valley Grizzlies won their fifth straight Monterey Bay League Pacific match in a 6-1 drubbing of the Gilroy Mustangs.
No. 1 Katiana Guillen won 6-2, 6-3, No. 2 Christy Rodriguez won 6-0, 6-0, No .3 Kiany Vela won 6-0, 6-2, and No. 4 Jenniffer Soriano won 6-0, 6-1.
No. 1 doubles Chelsi Ocampo and Romina Rodriguez won 6-2, 6-3, and No. 3 doubles Paulina Serna and Jessica Camarillo won 6-3, 6-3.
The Grizzlies travel to Gilroy for a match against the Christopher Cougars Tuesday.
•Watsonville Def. Alvarez: The Watsonville Wildcatz beat the Alvarez Eagles 4-3 Thursday.
No. 1 Sarah Benavidez won 6-1, 6-0, Emma Ahern won 6-4, 6-1, and Joseline Lopez won 6-7(7-9), 6-3(10-8).
No. 1 doubles Jasmin Samundio and Saya Bolda won their match 6-3, 6-4.
•Notre Dame Def. Monte Vista Christian: Monte Vista Christian went down 4-3 in a close game to Notre Dame Thursday.
No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles all won, but they couldn’t pull out the fourth match for the team win.
No. 1 Grace Tao won 6-4, 7-6, Katie Riordan won 6-0, 6-4 and Larissa Tao won 6-3, 6-1.

•Carmel Def. Aptos: The Aptos Mariners lost 13-10 to Carmel Thursday.
The loss dropped them to 5-8 with a game coming against Salinas Tuesday at Hartnell.
