Carr comes in relief for victorious Potomac

San Lorenzo Valley High alum Adam Carr pitched the final two innings of the Potomac Nationals’ 14-0 win over the Lynchburg HillCats on Monday in northern Virginia.

Carr teamed up with two other Potomac pitchers to throw a 1-hitter. He allowed one walk and struck out two to close out the game. His ERA dipped to 2.02.

Potomac led 5-0 after one inning and coasted from there.

Salinas High grad Xavier Nady went 0 for 4.
