Rodriguez signs letter to play at Notre Dame

WATSONVILLE — Sarah Rodriguez said she loved visiting Notre Dame de Namur University so much a month ago that she decided to head there for college.

The university is welcoming her with open arms.

The St. Francis Central Coast Catholic High senior signed a letter of intent Friday afternoon to attend Notre Dame, where she will play volleyball.

Notre Dame is located in Belmont, which she said is a positive because it’ll be close to home.
