WATSONVILLE — The Watsonville High School Foundation’s Hall of Fame’s selections have been made.

Hall of Fame winners are retired U.S. Air Force Major Robert (Bob) Davidson, (class of 1949), local farmer Ken Dobler, (‘57), Santana lead singer Andy Vargas, (‘95), Louise Bilicich, and posthumous awardees Louis Bilicich (’36) and Mitchie Miyamoto (’38.)

Friends of the Wildcatz are WHS teachers Louise Bilicich and Jean Pogue.

In Saturday’s R-P, Louis and Louise Bilicich and Mitchie Miyamoto were profiled.

(Editor’s note: this year’s honorees, and their compelling stories, are too long to list in one issue. Please check upcoming issues for their stories.)

• Robert Davidson (’49)

Watsonville resident Robert Davidson, (class of 1949), said his most powerful memory of being in the U.S. Air Force was flying the captured crew of the USS Pueblo back home on Dec. 23, 1968.
