CAPITOLA — Repairs are underway at the Capitola Wharf, two months after high surf damaged two pilings and broke the gas mainline.
According to Capitola's public works director Steve Jesberg, work to replace two pilings that held the floating docks will begin Monday and be finished by the end of next week. Power Engineering of Alameda was contracted with the job.
Work to build a permanent gas line will likely be finished in May, Jesberg said.
